In the Book of Lamentations - chapter three, we find the following:
42. We have transgressed and rebelled; You have not pardoned.
43. You have covered Yourself with anger And pursued us; You have slain and not pitied.
44. You have covered Yourself with a cloud, That prayer should not pass through
Through the previous texts, it becomes clear to us that God did not forgive the sins of his prophet Jeremiah and his people, and he killed them and did not spare them. Rather, when the people tried to repent, God covered himself with clouds and did not pass on their prayers.
This is a simple example of a biblical myth
