Did the prophets of the Bible fast?

Many Jews and Christians make fun of Muslim fasting, but wait:

I wonder, will the Christians also mock their God Jesus, who fasted for forty days and was hungry, as in the Gospel of Matthew 4:2 , Gospel of Luke 4:2

And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.

As for Moses, it was mentioned in the Bible that he fasted for forty days and abstained from food and drink

See Exodus 34:28

So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

As for the Prophet Joel, he commanded fasting at the beginning of his book 2:14, where he says:

Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly

Likewise, the Prophet David used to fast, and he said this in his Psalm 35:13

My clothing was sackcloth; I humbled myself with fasting

Likewise, the Christian apostles used to fast, and that is why the following is mentioned in Acts 13:3

Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away

You will find many other texts that include fasting, such as Nehemiah 9:1, Ezra 8:21, 1 Kings 21:12, 2 Samuel 12:16, Judges 20:26.......

So Muslims are the ones who follow the commandments of the prophets, and Muslims are the ones who follow the law of God, while the Jews and Christians have gone astray and violated the law of the Lord.

O Jew and O Christian, come on, leave your wrong religion and come embrace Islam, for Islam is the path of light♥️
